The kids did a great job making it a lovely Mothers Day for me, even in spite of me being so sick that day. Samantha surprised me with a watermelon cake. The kids heart-attacked our living room which was a fun surprise when I came out in the morning. Bret made cinnamon roll waffles (yum). And each of the kids put so much thought into making me fun things that I will always remember. Bret surprised me at the end of the day with a shelf to hang all of my running medals on. We had a nice day together. I love my cute little family so much!!
